Cartier created the W4BB0017 from the Ballon Bleu collection to illustrate the whimsical wonder of a hot air balloon in timepiece form. The W4BB0017 has a round-shaped stainless-steel case that is 36MM in diameter and 12 thick with a scratch-resistant sapphire crystal and a blue synthetic cabochon screw-down crown with 54 brilliant-cut diamonds set stainless-steel bezel. It has a silvered dial with sunray effect, blue steel sword hands, and Roman numerals hour markers. The W4BB0017 has automatic movement. The case is paired with a stainless-steel bracelet with a stainless-steel has a hidden fold-over clasp. It has a water resistance of 30 meters (100 feet).
