In 2014 Tudor released the 79220B, which employed the horological wonders of a vintage military Black Bay diver incorporated with modern caliber design. The 79220B has a polished and satin-finished steel case that is 41mm in diameter with a midnight-blue winding crown, a sapphire crystal and a solid case back. It has a rotatable, steel bezel which has a blue insert so dark it almost looks black with silver-tone graduations. The dial is a cool black with index hour markers and steel proprietary hands. The 79220B is powered by the self-winding ETA produced 2824-2 caliber which has a power reserve of 42 hours. The case is paired with a blue leather bracelet with a stainless-steel fold-over clasp. It has a water resistance of 200 meters (660 feet).
