Tudor released a sparse collection of timepieces that were specially commissioned by officials from the State of Qatar which make it a unique 79230R that you must add to your collection. The 79230R comes in a polished and satin-finished steel case that is 41mm in diameter with a screw-down winding crown, a domed sapphire crystal and a solid case back. It comes with a unidirectional steel bezel with a matte burgundy anodized aluminum disc insert and is the perfect tool for the diver. The dial is black with index hour markers and features a gilt print of the words “State of Qatar” in Arabic and English. The 79230R is powered by the new in-house movement self-winding MT5602 caliber which is chronometer-certified with a power reserve of 70 hours. The case is paired with a steel Rivet bracelet with a fold-over clasp. It has a water resistance of 200 meters (660 feet).
